Greetings from Dallas, Texas. I am here in the lone star state with my
parents to be with them for the surgery on my dad who will be operated on
for removing his esophagus on Tuesday of this week. We would greatly
appreciate your prayers for my Dad, Milton Sexton and for the rest of the
family. My sister Cindy lives here close to Dallas and is a nurse and will
be caring for him after the surgery.
I have had several opportunities to share the Gospel with people just from
the conversation about my dad's cancer. Pray for Mike whom I shared the
Gospel with on the plane traveling to Kansas on Thursday. His mother had the
same cancer my dad has. That was no coincidence. It shows that God is in
control!
Caleb is home from Moody Bible Institute and directed our Spanish service
today in my absence.
I plan to return to Florida on Saturday unless there are complications. I
have a Spanish baseball chapel for the Florida Hammerheads baseball team on
Saturday and an English chapel for the same team on Sunday. This is a minor
league of the Florida Marlins. Four players from the Dominican Republic
accepted Christ as Savior two Saturdays ago. It is amazing how open these
players are. We say 5 accept Christ with the NY mets training for minor
leagues in March.
We have two weeks of VBS planned in June with a teen missions group from
Bible Baptist church in Michigan and then from Iglesia Biblica Emanuel en
McCallan, Texas.
In him,
The Sexton's
